The basic rules for keeping fish alive and healthy are as follows. :- 1 inch of fish needs a minimum of 1 gallon of water. :- Every fish tank needs a permanently running cycled filter. :- Every fish tank needs to have a minimum of 50% of its water replaced every week. Failure to follow any of the above rules will inevitably lead to fish getting sick and dying. Compliance with the above rules will give your fish a chance to live and be healthy.
