My wife's body control module on her 1998 Jeep Grand Cherokee liberty is being replaced today. Some how it was effecting the controls on the throttle idle, and also draining the battery on the vehicle. This part is very expensive. I received an estimate of $634 just for the part.

A 1997 Wrangler doesn't have a BCM. (body control module) It does have a PCM (powertrain control module) which is behind the battery.

The 1993 Jeep Grand Cherokee engine control module is located on the firewall in the engine compartment. The engine control module will be on the passenger side of the firewall.
The transmission control module and engine control module are one part and are located under the hood.

The 2007 Jeep Grand Cherokee transmission control module is located on the back of the transmission. The transmission control module will be in the upper left-hand corner of the transmission.
The fuel filter is part of the pump module in the fuel tank.
