That is common on the vortec engines when the intake manifold gasket blows on the inside. It dumps engine coolant into the oil pan. It sounds like you had a water leak
and you kept adding coolant with out knowing it was going in the oil pan.
Your engine is now junk, because antifreeze destroys engine bearings. It was probley overheated too.
Now if you did not over heat the engine at all, I mean at all. Then you can pull the
engine and take it all apart. Replace all bearings, cam bearings,rod bearings, main
bearings, but most of all it would have to be cleaned like never before. NEW OIL PUMP and all new gaskets. If you don't do this kind of work, Then your best bet would be a new long block.
