The Impact on law enforcement is that it set the rules of which a police officer must follow in order to get a lawful confession or any statement from a suspect or people involved in the crime. In Brown V Mississippi the police use coercion to get answers out which you can't. The statements must be given voluntarily or else the evidence gained will not be amissable in court of law.
