I'm 17 and everywhere I went they refused to drug test me because I didn't want it and I was not in any immdiate danger. I was not using drugs, but my grandparents were trying to do it anyways. If you are so concerned about it, try to find a reason to take your child to a doctor, if the doctor thinks it needs to be done, well they will do it.

It is important to respect your teenager's rights and privacy. In most places, drug testing a minor without consent is not legal unless there are extenuating circumstances like suspicion of harm to themselves or others. It is recommended to have an open and honest conversation with your teenager and seek professional guidance if needed.

If you can legally move out in Texas at seventeen do you still need parental consent to be adopted say by your best friend's parents?

If you have been emancipated you can. If you haven't, technically you cannot be adopted at seventeen without consent from them. Also, you're parents cannot kick you out at seventeen. It is illegal to do so until you are eighteen. You should look up emancipation if you have not already, it is when you can legally make your own choices in life and legally move out and pretty much be considered an adult before you turn eighteen. Hope this answers your question pretty well. If not, I hope it provided some insight into different options you may choose.
