Not sure what the question is. What, Where etc...
Rear camshaft seal bad. Replace. located behind cam sensor.
A camshaft seal keeps engine oil in and dirt/water out.
how to change camshaft oil seal 95 pathfinder
They have a 2 pins/wire connector, they have an O-ring to seal to the head and are held into the block with 1 or 2 screws( OHC motors).
Well the sensor itself dose not leak there is a thin round gasket that is made into the sensor it keeps the seal between sensor and camshaft they are a common place for oil leaks. I just replaced the one on my 97 neon they are they are thin and black it was hard to see but it on there I used a knife to get the old one out. Cheap part and easy to fix 5-10$ at a dealership.
very carefully
Take off camshaft seal bolts
crank seal
remove the seal and slide it to the side
There are several places the oil could be leaking from. One is the valve cover gasket, another is the oil pan gasket. It could also be leaking from the main or the rear seal, the oil pressure sensor, or from the camshaft seal, among other places. A mechanic will be able to figure it out.
If this is a 4-cyl, it is a very in-depth process to replace the seal...removing motor mounts and the majority of engine components to be able to pull the camshaft. If it is necessary, follow instructions for replacing the head gasket on your model. You can replace the seal at the point of removing the Timing Belt.
Yes it is.
