As a roofer the first port of call is to get some sort of referance from the inside. If there is accessable roof space above the leak then get in there with a good torch and see if you can trace it back to get a good referance before you look on the roof.
Once you have your referance you can head for the area on the roof you pinpointed it down to. something mat be obvious before you even climb the ladder. You will need a roof ladder to hook ove rthe ridge to give you access up the roof. Head for the area and look for something out of place; this could be a slipped, cracked or missing tile/slate/shingle. Flashings may have come adrift or the pointing of a chimney or its flashing could be in need of attention. Flat roofs are harder to find the cause of a leak. The best way to deal with that is clean the area thoroughly ( bigger the better) and apply a good quality ruberoid or acrylic membrane.
Good luck.
you use a mirror and a flash light
Because there is a leak in the pipe of the water main.
There must be a leak in one of the pipes in you house.
Perhaps the radiator itself or lower hose - try pressure testing system to find leak
pressurize the system. that'll make the leak leak faster and you should be able to find it easier.
you find out were the water is coming from after you fill it up with water.
A pressure test is done to locate a leak if you can't visually see where it is coming from.
Gas leak. Very dangerous situation. Stop driving this car until you find the leak.
well you look up from where the leak is coming from or the wear the water is dripping from and their you go you fond out wear the leak is.
where is the leak?
Start the engine and use a can of WD40 to spray any suspected hose. When you hear the engine change RPMs, you have found a leak.
I had the same issue on my 97 Olds Bravada. It ended being the water pump.
