Simple remedy that worked for me
Open live mail on yourdesk top
- click on menu's (to the left of the ? help symbol)
- click options
- click the send tab
- uncheck "upload larger images to the web when sending a photo email"
This sorted it for me, hope it does for any others with this problem

just re-install the program. if that doesn't work try dragging and dropping the image into the email
