Does your key turn on? Need to know this first. Yes the key does turn on. And I no longer have brake lights. Checked all the fuses with no luck there. It your brake light switch. If your brake lights are not working, bulbs are fine and you can not get it out of park its either your switch or wires to your switch under dash. You probably had power window motor replace which seems to create alot of this problem. okay now how do I fix it without spending alot.
Try to find out if the car have fuses for left and right brake lights. And did you replace the bulb on the side that is not working?
Please help me locate my glasses.
locate the problem
My problem is that when I shut off van my lights come on and window wipers also... no radio, heater is always on high... which relay switch controls all these?
I am having the same problem. Did you get yours fixed? I can't seem to locate the problem area. Changed all of the fuses. Looking for the relay switch to change and then the last thing i can think to replace it the switch. Let me know if you fixed it. Thanks
The reverse light sensor is located at the side of the gearbox and has two wires running to it. To test run a wire across the two and if it lights up that is your problem.
my brake lights are not working on my ford mondeo. i have replaced both bulbs and they still do not work.i am wondering if the fuse has blown , but i cannot locate it. can you help please?

Blown fuse. If you replace the blown fuse and it blows again, you have a short in the tail light/dash light circuit. It's going to take some detective work to locate the source of the problem.
You should check and see if it has oil . Locate the dipstick , then pull it out . If no oil on the bottom of the dip stick, that's your problem. Btw: you should do this asap!
To locate the dash lights fuse on a 1999 Honda Accord to find out if it is causing the dash lights do not work when you have the parking lights on after installing an after-market radio, check the owner's manual. You can also find a fuse diagram at most auto part stores.
There's got to be a break in the system somewhere. Take your test light and start with the brake light switch (on the brake pedal) and keep working your way along the system until you locate the problem.
