Well, both of my parents had brown eyes. Out of 11 kids 3 had brown and the rest of us had blue.Come to think of it, the mailman and the milkman had blue eyes.
No. A blue eyed parent and a hazel eyes parent can only have a hazel eyed or Blue eyed child. Do you have an open relationship? It seems that someone else is the parent.
Yes
no
---- yes however their is a higher chance of the child being red-i mean brown eyed 8=====D
Yes, if the parents carry the gene for green eyes as a recessive gene.
Yes. There are at least five genes that contribute to eye color. It is quite possible for both parents to have brown eyes (which are dominant) and yet carry other genes that can produce a green-eyed child.
yes..especially since your mother has green eyes.
a child with parents eyes that are blue and grey are more likely to get blue eyes. But it is not impossible that a child with those parents cant get brown eyes. My parents have brown and blue eyes and i got grey. It isn't impossible but quite rare.
I don't think two brown eyed parents produce a blue eyed child, but a brown eyed parent and a blue eyed parent can produce a child with blue eyes. Brown eyes are not always dominate. Two brown-eyed parents CAN produce a blue-eyed child if BOTH carry the recessive gene for blue eyes. Recessive means it can hide, but is still present and ready to be carried on to a future generation. Brown eyes ARE dominant. If you carry the gene for brown eyes, your eyes are brown. This does not mean you can't also carry the recessive gene for blue/green eyes.
Yes. Hazel eyes are often brown eyes with green coloring in them.
Yes. Green eyes and blue eyes are caused by the same gene.
Yes. It is not likely, but it is possible, and happens not infrequently.
Blue or green eyes. To produce a light eyed child the parents must have the recessive genes.
