Hmmm....bit of a grey area....usually it's a custody battle which ensues...but it does help saying which parent you wish to stay with.
no
If you are 18 you are no longer a minor and can choose to live with either parent (or neither).
nope, they have to be over 18
Not arbitrarily. The custodial parent would have to receive permission from the court for the change in residence.
No. Until they are 18-years-old, the minor must live where the parent(s) or the court decree.
You have to be 18 to get married without Parent Consent and 14 with Parent Consent in Texas.
Well if the noncustodial parent wishes to take the kid the judge might give the parent custody if there is not a bad reason the parent did not get custody in the first place hope I helped you
In Missouri and Texas once your 17 you can up and leave, go anywhere you want, so if you live in one of those states, you can, if you don't you'll have to talk to a law enforcer or attorney to see if you can get the custody granted to the parent you want to live with.
you might need a parent consent
The only states with specific laws addressing this is Indiana and Texas. Beyond that, they simply have a right to express and opinion.
yep, if you are over 12 then you can choose what parent to live with
No.
