Not likely. Without any support, how would he live? His parents are responsible for him financially. Otherwise he will be put into a home.
No.
The underage mother must get parental permission the dad is emancipated so he is by law an adult
No.
Absolutely! According to state and federal law a child over the age of 16 but under the age of 18 is emancipated when she becomes a parent. My personal opinion, its better for the baby to be with his/her mother and father.
That's up to the interpretation of the judge. see link
In order to get emancipated in the U.S. you have to go before a judge and he has to grant it to you. You have to have a stable job which brings in enough income for you to support yourself and you have to find a suitable living arrangement that is approved by the court.
She could but that would be moraly wrong
It is based upon the income of the mother and father of the child.
My granddaughter wants to live with her mother she is soon to be 17 and her father has custody and dose not want her to leave what recourse dose my granddaughter have ?
That is dependent on agreement, state law, their differences in income, the needs of the parties and other factors.
In Missouri, it's mandatory. see link
No and neither are the mothers who also have to support them. You don't have to be emancipated to get a job. In some cases if the father can not pay, the mother can petition the court for his parents to pay in his place until he is 18.
