I just had my blower motor replaced in my 95 Achieva. The motor is located on the firewall behind the motor on the passanger side of the car. The mechanic had to cut away part of the plastic cover to remove and replace the motor It cost me $168.00 to have this done. $70.00 for the motor and the rest was labor. wow you got ripped off! I bought my blower motor at auto zone for 24.99 and it has a lifetime warranty. Put it in myself.. no problem!
No you can not put any Oldsmobile motor into a 1985 Cutlass Supreme. Each car has a motor that was designed specifically for that vehicle. So if you need to replace the motor in a 1985 Cutlass Supreme, you need to find the specific motor for that vehicle.
you have to buy the V8 motor mounts for your year Monte and bolt them in to fit the 305.
put a 305 in a 95 gmc 1500 now it want start. We put a new fuel pump in and its still want fire.
sure u can u can put any motor in any car if u wish to with a lot of work tho but dont wast time with a 305 get a 350 better and chearper to build hp
It sounds like the mounting bolt has pulled through. If you hear the motor, you will only have to remount the motor. Take the door apart and find a large washer to put on the bolt to keep it from pulling through the motor mount. I have had to do this on 2 of my windows so far.
The coolant level switch on a 95 Achieva has a sticking problem. If you tap the coolant tank near the sensor the light will go out
THE CRANKSHAFT SENSOR IS ON THE FRONT SIDE OF MOTOR DIRECTLY BEHIND THE STARTER......ITS VERY HARD TO SEE BUT IT CAN BE FELT TO PUT A SOCKET WRENCH ON IT....REMOVE WIRING PLUG BEFORE DOING THIS... IT MUST BE PLUGED IN CORRECTLY FOR THE MOTOR TO RUN AND CAN NOT BE BY PASSED. THERE IS ALSO A CAMSHAFT SENSOR ON THE TOP FRONT SIDE OF MOTOR ....ON THE HEAD
A pineapple grenade because you are about to mess up the 88 truck has a weak motor prob don't have as much power as the 305 vortec don't do it get computer and motor from a vortec to put in the truck
Put a potato in the exhaust pipe.
Yeah but you have to modify you wiring harness and change motor mounts
It will bolt right in but, the "Y" pipe on the exhaust system from the 305 will not fit on to the 350.
motor will not run completely the correct way. motor my not be as strong any more
you have too take the front motor mount loose and lift the engine to install it
The cap should have a dipstick attached to it with lines on it for hot & cold levels
The 350 and the 305 is a direct swap, The only thing that is different with the 305 is the size of the pistions, They are smaller then the 350 engine. Just transfur the intake and all the other parts from the 305 and put it all on the 350 engine. Easy job.
That will of course all depend on how you set it up. In my experiences the possibilitys are endless. You can put some serious cash in to one and run just as much as you want.
WEll it all depends on the fuel system on the truck and motor if hey are the same u should be good... but one may be a tbi system and that's where u might need to do a little tweaking on your set ups.
Put the "O" ring on the line and lubricate it with a little silicone.
well, i have a '91 that came with the original 305, but after slinging a rod in it, i installed a 350. but i am told you can make it into a 383
possibly transmission and motor mounts,
It should, I am going to try to put one in mine, il let you know when I find out.
Yes, and it will increase torque
