NO....
No it will not. Chevy changed the design and bolt pattern in 1999. On the engine and transmissions.
Will a 1996 4l60e 4x4 trans fit in pace of a 1995 4l60e 4x4 trans
I own a 1997 Tahoe and I have a 2003 trans, no fit
Yes it will fit. But the problem is that the 95 has a computer in it to make the transmission that belongs in it shift up and down. The one that is in it now is a 4L60E and the E means electronic. The 88 trans will not WORK right cause that trans. is not electronic. You will always have a check engine light on and the engine electronics may not work correctly either. You really need to put the 4L60E back in it and be done with it.
4.3 v6 should drop right in place with a 4l60e trans Also a Camaro engine, not exactly sure on the size at this time...
NO it will not bolt up to the engine.
There is not any. You MUST put the 4L60E back in it because of the computer system that's on the truck. If you put any other trans. in it then the engine and computer system will NOT work right and you will have all kinds of problems.
It might fit, but it won't be compatible. The 99 Suburban had an electronically controlled 4L60E, whereas the 1982 350 engine is mechanical, and does not have the ECM necessary to operate that 4L60E transmission.
yesAnswerSurely it will NOT. 94 V8 Automatic needs 94-97 V8 Transmission from Camaro, Firebird or Caprice (4L60E). AnswerFor you above me.. the v6 and v8 share a 4L60E transmission... YES they will fit. The auto is kept in check by the rear gear... The 4L60E is nothing more than a 4L60E
That 99 tahoe MUST have the 4L60E transmission put in it.
yes
