All motors and transmissions are interchangeable with each other from the years 90-94, it only boils down to Model and drive setup, such as AWD vs FWD. The only difference I have seen with the 4g63 and 4g63t engines is the oil run off tube and oil feed tube for the turbo, other than that there doesn't seem to be any other differences so to a degree, yes. they are interchangeable
Not without modification
the 6 bolt came in the 90 to 92 2.0 talon. the 7 bolt came in the 93 to 94 2.0 talon and the 95 to 99 2.0 turbo talon. the 6 bolt is better. Just an addon the 92 also can have a 7 bolt motor. If it was manufactured before April of 1992 then it is a 6 bolt anything after that date it will be a 7 bolt. I have had two 1992 stock talons and both have had 7 bolts in them.
yes
Yes
When your looking at the motor it will be the first one next to the pulleys.
Plymouth Laser 92-94 and Mitsubishi Eclipse 93-94 for the 2.0L engine.
yes
Sorry i had to delete your response Hub Yes for hub, he is absolutely correct. However not for a '92 into a '93. The problem is internal. The crankshaft is different in the '91-'92 engines. Because the timing of the fuel and spark is based of the crankshaft position sensor, the '92 in the '93 will NOT run. At all. you need a '93 - '94 engine. Or a '95 - '97 engine with an EGR adapter Correction, you CAN swap the motors as long as you also swap the computers
a 5.0 is a 5.0 anything from a 83 - 93 should fit
usually yes but you need to now if the del sol engine is a dohc or a sohc
No, one car is OBD1 and one is OBD2, they will not work.
you have to remove the trans and flywheel.
