In most (not all) countries, it is against the law to be married to two or more people at once.

Also, it is usually illegal for a married woman to marry another man (polyandry).

Yes, in Mississippi parents are still legally and financially responsible for their minor children even if they get married. Marriage does not emancipate a minor from their parents' responsibility until they reach the age of majority.

Why didn't the pope not let Catherine of aragon and Henry VIII get a divorce?

There were several reasons why the Pope refused Henry VIII the divorce from Catherine of Aragon. First was because they had a dispensation from the previous Pope saying that it was fine for them to get married, even though she had been married to his brother before. The second was because shortly before Henry asked the Pope for the divorce The Holy Roman Emperor Charles sacked Rome and had the Pope captive. Charles was the nephew of Catherine-so the Pope was not about to make Charles mad by giving Henry the divorce.

Are you legally an adult after giving birth?

Not unless you are legally an adult anyway. It's a matter of age, not parental status.

I want to know how to get a divorce without causing distress to the children.?

Getting a divorce without causing emotional harm to the children involved is nearly impossible in most instances. If both parties are civil and do not use the child as a bargaining tool this is a good sign. Also, giving the child an outlet to speak his/her mind during the process is important, such as a counselor.
