That would depend on some factors.
For example: If the x-JW was disfellowshipped, perhaps engaging in pre-marital sex with the person that now they are about to wed; the Witness family would not attend. It would be like pretending that their mode of living was being approved of.

They have a more rigorous study of the bible.
