Fuel Injectors will not cause any form of oil consumption (in a direct sense). Oil Consumption is caused by: *Bad Rings *Bad Valve Guides, Stems or Seals *Cracks in the block that allow oil into the intake or cylinders *Bad PCV valves (or equivalent) Bad Fuel Injectors can cause oil breakdown. A bad injector can place too much fuel into the cylinder that is pushed past the rings during compression and firing. This unburned fuel is then heat mixed with the oil causing it to turn black and thin. This oil can become so thin as to go past the rings and seals in the motor (this is not a short duration problem, in most cases it takes 15K miles or more). This oil can then be burned, and cause smoking. If your oil is this black (old, bad) change the oil and filter, then change it again after 100 miles, then again after another 300 miles, then watch the oil for color changes
