Marriage has no connection with conversion to Judaism. It's neither a ticket of admission,
nor a requirement. Marrying a Jew doesn't make the process of conversion any easier or
shorter. No person will ever be invited or persuaded to convert to Judaism. But any person,
of any height, weight, color, national origin or political inclination, with a sincere desire and
serious personal commitment and conviction, can be accepted into a program of education
that leads to conversion, and if the conversion is 'consummated', then the convert is expected
to live as a Jew from then on.
