Yes,
Windows and Linux can be on the same machine. You have to look at Linux FAQ's to determine which to install first as I don't remember. The point is that it isn't difficult and it isn't crazy.
To switch the machine has to be rebooted. There was an effort to have an emulator under Linux (e.g. WINE) to run a windows session in a Linux window. I don't know the status but you take a performance hit
There are commercial products for running different OS's from within Windows, do a Google search. These are availablke for the MacOS as well
The latest versiuon of OSX is claimed to be able to run windows as a built in feature. Go to apple.com to find out
good luck
Sure. There are different ways to have more than one operating system on your computer at the same time.
On popular way is to install each of the operating systems on to a separate disk partition. Then, when the computer is started, you can use a bootloader to choose which operating system starts. This way doesn't allow both operating systems to run a the same time, but it allows them both to be installed.
Another way, is to use a virtual machine to have one of the operating systems running as a program in the other operating system.
Yes. but they cant be running at the same time.
You can, and you can use Virtualization (VMWare player or VirtualBox) to run at the same time. But you might have to enable virtualization in the BIOS (if it already isn't enabled)
The software needed to run a computer is known as the Operating System. Many hardware platforms allow you to choose between multiple operating systems to suit your needs.

Most modern operating systems see computer mice as plug-and-play devices. This generally means no installation is required as many operating systems have default drivers that can be applied. Otherwise, if a mouse requires installation, manufacturers generally include a CD with drivers.
The abbreviation of VAX stands for Virtual Address Extension. VAX operating systems were introduced in 1978. VAX production continued until 2005 where the last of the newer systems were discontinued.
They cannot use the same computer in the same time, only if it runs a multiuser operating system (unix).

Exel can be run on a few computer operating systems. Excel works very well with a PC computer system, Android computer system and with Windows computer systems.
Operating systems are designed to manage computer hardware and software resources
Operating systems software manages the hardware on your computer, and provides an interface between the user- or application software, and the computer hardware.
Two operating systems are; Windows, and Linux.
when you restart the computer you should get the option using bootstrapper (presuming windows was the first OS put on the hard drive)
Yes, a computer operating system can be downloaded onto your computer. One of the most common file formats to download operating systems is the .img file format. The .img file format can be used by programs like Oracle's VirtualBox, to create a virtual computer on your own computer. This uses the operating system that is saved in the .img file without overriding your current computers operating system and basically creates another "fake" or virtual computer within your own computer. However, these operating systems can also be used to replace your current operating system or to dual boot your computer, this means to have two operating systems installed on one computer at the same time. Operating systems can also be downloaded for the sole purpose of replacing your current operating system. For example, when a person upgrades their computer from running Windows 8.1 to Windows 10, they are essentially downloading a new operating system on to their computer from Microsoft, but in a way that it completely replaces their current operating system.
Remove one of the OSs.
