In the July issue of Whole Dog Journal there is an article on the subject. It is a med recommended by Dr. Nicholas Dodman of Tufts University Cummings School of Veterinary Medicine. He prefers it over the other medications for storm and noise related phobias.
Speak to your vet about it, there are some indicators of when not to use it, renal disease is one of those indicators of NOT using this drug.
