Can a human become possessed by a past life?

==new answer== We all have this ability. It is a natural occurance in sub-conscious mind. If you are serious about getting acquainted with this part of yourself, then you will be led to the proper place of training. Although this was available to me as part of my training, I was more interested in developing an understanding of a system which aided me in getting a handle on now, so I did'nt persue relating to the past except for the information I got from past life readings. I do know several who did develop this part of themselves. I have had the experience of getting pictures of someone's past related to a counseling session I was doing. One thing I did develop an interest in was healing. Through regular healing practices over a two year period, I am still fascinated that we can develop the ability to see into the physical body. I learned much about myself through this practice. When you do the work it takes to rise above the physical existence, you will correspondingly notice the freedom from physical restrictions to the extent that you have developed. I know first hand the meaning of the words "to be in the world but not of it" someday.

The only people that could figure that out are dead, and they can't come back to life and tell us. So it's pretty much impossible to figure out while you're still alive. Just believe what you want to believe.

If you can know about your life that has previously been lived, then we all can. But the question is - can you? Do you know about your past life? Nobody does, then why is it so complicated? If today, people in the world do not know about their past life, then why do we presume that we will ever come to know about our past life? Yes, we can see with our eyes that the body dies, the body returns to dust. We can also see that the one who was alive leaves, who are we? Are we the Soul, the power that leaves? Or are we the mind and ego that was alive in the body? Depending on our belief, depending on our Karma, we will be born again in a new body. Therefore, all this needs us to go on a quest of self-realization. It is not something that can be answered in one question, we must go deep in quest to find the Truth.
