Although disulfiram (Antabuse, et.al.) contains sulphur, we can find no contraindications for sulphur Allergies. However, people with allergies to rubber should not take disulfiram without consulting about possible reactions with their physicians.

You should know that there are other drugs that produce "disulfiram reactions" that have different constituents and cause less severe reactions.

Also, DO NOT TAKE DISULFIRAM IF YOU ARE DRINKING, AND DO NOT ADMINISTER IT TO ANYONE WITHOUT THEIR KNOWLEDGE. Not only is that highly unethical -- not to mention illegal -- but it could prove fatal if they drank unknowingly.
