If you think of it no. In JP3 spinosaurus was 9 tons, but it was a fish eater. How can you get to 9 tons on fish. Second when Trex had a grip on spinosaurus it would be over. Trex has slightly curved teeth that have bacteria all over it. Even if spinosaur escaped it would die from infection. That would unlikely happen because trex has bone crushing jaws and spinosaurus has hollow bones for catching fish. One bite from rex and x.x

It's possible for T-Rex to win, but unlikely.

T.Rex:stronger

Spinosaurus: more useful arms, faster, much smarter, able to swim

EDIT

They lived in different time periods and places; Tyrannosaurus lived in North America in the Later Cretaceous and Spinosaurus in Central Africa during the Early Cretaceous. Spinosaurus had jaws and fish designed like a crocodile to eat fish, but it was very smart while T.Rex had extremely strong bone crushing jaws but couldn't swim or strategize. If they had lived in the same time periods, Spinosaurus would probably have been the winner. Six Velociraptors could have taken down a fully grown Trex easily.

-well first off, the two lived very far away from each other. spino-africa, trex-north america. so they would never encounter each other. if they had...

spinosaurus has teeth that were better designed for catching fish although some research does show it sometimes would prey on some other types like pterodactyls. these were the contents found in its stomach. according to wiki, some scientist think this dinosaurs behavior resembled that of a grizzly bear or crocadile. its not clear what the fin on its back it for.

trex has bone crunching teeth, though not ideal for extracting bone marrow like hyenas. it is debated whether trex was a scavenger or a predetor. some say the trex would have been too slow to catch alot of prey while others suggest it would prey on larger/slower plat eating dinorsaurs (i find it hard to believe something as large as trex soley relied on scavenging-supposively they can run about 35mph). some research shows that trex did fight eat other at times which could show these creatures were very hostile towards other threatening dinosaurs perhaps over territory. the trex is said to have great vision, great sense of smell, and a biological weapon for a mouth like a komoto dragon.

i havent heard too much suggesting spinosaurus to be territorial while ive heard it about trex. i think the trex would defeat the spinosaurus. a territorial animal with experience in predatory combat amoungst other land dwelling dinosaurs with probably dominate a land based fight. if the fight took place in water the story might be different.

i think the trex is just designed for the fight better. even if the trex some how lost, the spniosaurus would soon die afterwards from infection due to the trex's deadly bite.

Spinosaurus and Tyrannosaurus both lived on different continent during different times so the two would have never came into contact. If they did though, they probably would not immediately resort to a battle to the death. Most likely, they would try to size each-other up and scare the other dinosaur away. If neither of them backed down then it might become a battle. Spinosaurus was large than T-rex and had much larger and powerful arms. It's jaws were weak compared to other large dinosaurs, but these jaws were still about three time stronger than a crocodiles, which have one of the strongest bite forces of any animal today. It's teeth were also conical and were more useful for puncturing rather that crushing like Tyrannosaurus. On the other hand, Tyrannosaurus was slightly smaller, but a little more muscular. It's arms were small and almost useless, but it had the strongest bite force of any dinosaur. A lot of people say Tyrannosaurus would be the winner, however they usually just base it on bite force, which is not an accurate way to decide which animal would have the greater chance of winning. Probably the most accurate conclusion to this debate is simply whichever dinosaur is the first to bite, so it really is a 50% chance for both of them. We truly cannot say that one would generally emerge victorious more often than the other. Tyrannosaurus's jaws would be able to snap Spino's neck. If Spinosaurus bit first, then it's conical teeth would cut into the trachea, killing the Tyrannosaurus.

No. I base this on many facts about both Spino and Rex.

Rex

Pros: 7,000 pounds of bite force. Active Hunter. Based for Combat. Binocular Vision. And Very Intelligent.

Cons: Short Arms(although very strong).

Spino

Pros: Long Jaws. Longer. Faster.

Cons: Fish Eater. Weak, Hollow Teeth. 3,000 Pounds Bite Force. Arms are Useless in combat due to their position. And the Spine is VERY Fragile and filled with Blood-Vessels, One hit and the spino bleeds to death.

The Vast majority of the Spino's length is its tail, So Tyrannosaurus is technically bigger.

Although they millions of years apart, yes T-Rex was very capable of killing a Spinosaurus. Jurassic Park III is a fictional movie and likes to exaggerate the dinosaurs. Tyrannosaurus was a lot stronger and much bigger in overall size.

it depends usually on the habitat if it was on land spinosaurus would have a hard time biting rex with its weak jaw designed to catch like onchopristis or ceolecanths. tyrannosaurus would easily snap the spine off leading to damage to the ribs. if in water spinosaurus would drag rex underwater and spinosaurus did not hunt on land. it hunted for fish while tyrannosaurus had the experience of catching and killing larger, bulkier prey like edmontosaurus, triceratops, deinocheirus and sauropods

Anyone who says yes clearly doesn’t do research on the animals and only watches Jurassic park. The Trex bite it comparable to being crushed by three cars and needed to be to hunt huge prey like the triceratops. The spino has a very thin jaw meant for hunting fish. It’s obvious to say the spino hunting a trike would be a huge risk for it and not to mention it wouldn’t even be able to catch most land animals. And I’ll put it in numbers for you. T. rex bite force 35,000 to 57,000 Newtons. Spino 14,200 - 16,000 Newtons.

besides they didn't hunt in packs though sure they behaved like wolves but they didn't do it in a coordinated pack and they didn't do it to hunt prey bigger than themselves and this is a reptile sure Nile crocodiles are the most social of all reptiles but it's only if one kills another animal and if that happens it only starts a feeding frenzy not a pack and this is a reptile were talking about they don't know to do pack hunting.

this is spinososurus and t rex well my vote is for t rex because he had the strongest bite force and spino has weakest 1 point for t rex second point t rex had 50 teeth and spino had 45 and+ t rex would be faster because he is a bit smaller and t rex can jump very high t rex can easily deafeat spinosaurus.t rex is stronger.
