Angel fish (Pterophylum scalare) are one of the most tropical fish coming from the Amazon. Goldfish (Carassius auratus) are cold water fish. They both need totally different condtions and water qualities. So the answer is they could live together provided the water is kept warm and pure enough for the Angelfish but they will not do well.
No i wouldn't recommend it.... goldfishes live in cold waters and angel fish live in warm water so that wouldn't really be a good match up
They are totally different species requiring totally different water conditions they should NEVER be in the same tank together. Goldfish are coldwater fish (they come from China). Goldfish water should be kept below 70F and have a medium hardness and a neutral pH of around 7 to 7.2. Angelfish are very tropical fish (they come from the Amazon) their water should be around 80F very soft, and have an acid pH of around 6.5 to 6.8.
It's always been my understanding that you shouldn't pair goldfish with any other type of fish. Apparently, goldfish secrete certain oils that aren't healthy for other fish. You can find several varieties of goldfish, however... there are many with long, beautiful fins that are similar to angelfish.
It depends if you feed them twice or three times a day. If not, the angelfish may eat the guppies fancy fins and it's guppy fry. You may also separate them. So remember to be responsible on feeding them. By Stephen Ma Jit Chi.
No.
Yes.

The Story:
I have a 75 gallon aquarium that is stocked with angelfish, among others, which is kept at 78 degrees.
I have had the occasional 'feeder' goldfish meant for consumption survive and prosper in the tank.
Absolutely not! Goldfish need a tank all to themselves, because they eat different foods and need different conditions.
Yes i have one goldfish and one angelfish and they do not fight people say they do but they really don't.
Technically , both require different environments. Goldfish likes cold water and angelfish likes tropical. However, goldfish can survive in warm water so both can be kept, leaving one of them unhappy.
I am surprised you are keeping tropical and goldfish together. Although they do get on, they require different water temperatures. If the goldfish is kept in warmer conditions its metabolic rate increases and it will have a shorter life span.
There are many similarities between angelfish and goldfish- to name one angelfish and fancy goldfish (especially the oranda) both have several long delicate fins.
Then the goldfish will die.
Mollies are tropical fish and should be kept above 70F. Goldfish are coldwater fish and should be kept below 70F. They should NEVER be kept together.
because fish are cannibals
A guppie is a tropical fish and should be kept in an aquarium with other tropical fish, a goldfish is kept in a bowl or tank in cold water - the 2 cannot be kept together because of the different in the temperature of the water
Angel fish are semi aggressive fish. They may have a tendancy to pick on the gold fish. Also, angelfish need tropical warm water to survive. Gold fish like cold water. I would not put them together. If the Angel is big enough it will eat your goldfish.

No, first of all they should not be in the same tank, and secondly, goldfish are egg laying fish so they do not get pregnant
Yes, if you like fish.
No I'm afraid not. As goldfish grow bigger they eat whatever fits in their mouths. But the only species that mixes with goldfish is the weather loach.
