Well, if you committed suicide, you would be dead, so no... they couldn't fire you. On a serious note though, it really depends on your company's HR rules and those of the state you reside in. Many states are "right to work" which means your boss can fire you at any time, for any reason (besides discrimination) and doesn't even have to tell you why. Your best bet is to contact your state's Labor Board and check their rules/file a complaint if this has happened.
If your depression does not affect your work perfomance he cannot; however if it keeps you from being able to do your job then he can.
That depends on what you are being fired for, if you are being fired for being out of work, that is illegal, if however your employer were to fire you for reasons unrelated to the medical leave, that could be legal depending on the reasons.
If you were doing your job there would be no reason for your employer to threaten to fire you.
Have the employer write a letter stating that they only hire women so that they can fire them. Then have the employer get it notarized.
Absolutely not it has nothing to do with the employer
From not being understood it is possible to be depressed, aggrieved, sad, but not possible to be clinically depressed (medically ill).
Yes, in fact, the employer is specifically asked for such information.
They need a good reason to fire you.
