The AEM UEGO gauge has colored dots that light up to show rich, stoicometric and lean ratio of fuel to air ratio. The number in the

middle is the actual air fuel ration. I think 14.7 has been bandied

about as ideal. The goal is to avoid "Leaning" out. I read somewhere

are comparison of lighted bars to numbers, which is not needed with

a digital display. Hope this helps.

How do you install air fuel ratio gauge?

Air fuel ratio gauges rely on a sensor that is very much like an O2 sensor used in a car's emmission system. Therefore you would have to have 'bung' drilled and welded into your cars exhaust system to mount the sensor for the air/fuel gauge. After that, run the wiring and mount the gauge like any other aftermarket gauge.

What is ratio of gauge to mil in plastic thickness?

Mil to Gauge ratio

What is wideband amplifier?

A wideband amplifier is an electronic circuit providing constant amplification with a ratio of its low corner frequency to its high corner frequency of more than an octave. The widwband amplifier is complementary in concept to "audio amplifier" (20Hz-20KHz) and "video amplifier" (15KHz to 4.8MHZ). The "opposite" concept is the narrow-band or tuned amplifier. There's a new wideband amplifier technology called PowerBand from TriQuint Semiconductor. end-

How can a golden ratio be measured?

with a Fibonacci gauge

Is a knock sensor the same as an af sensor?

No, it is not a knock sensor at all. An AF (Air/Fuel Ratio) sensor is also know as a wide range oxygen sensor. It is the newer type oxygen sensor.

Does a bad speed sensor effect the gear ratio?

No, the gear ratio is determined by the number of teeth in the ring gear and pinion gear. To be changed, that would require a physical alteration, which a speed sensor cannot do.

What does the diagnositic code P2240 on a Honda Accord mean?

Bank 2 sensor 1 (Air fuel ratio sensor)

What do you mean strain gauge and gauge factor?

Gauge factor(GF) orstrain factorof astrain gaugeis the ratio of relative change inelectrical resistanceto themechanical strainε, which is the relative change in length.

P1130 Toyota Camry?

P1130 indicates an Air/Fuel Ratio Sensor Circuit Range/Performance Malfunction Bank 1 Sensor 1. Problems could be a faulty air fuel ratio, the sensor harness is shorted, the sensor has a poor electrical connection, a fuel pressure problem, a fuel injector issue, or air leaks in the intake.

What does an oxygen sensor do on a Ford Explorer?

The oxygen sensor(s) before the catalytic converter(s) is used to determine the air / fuel ratio of the engine

What does a o2 sensor do?

Automotive oxygen sensors or lambda sensor is known as O2 sensors. Modern electronic fuel injection and emission control is possible because of O2 sensor. O2 sensor helps to determine if the air fuel ratio of a car engine is rich or lean. O2 sensor is located in the exhaust system near catalytic convertor. O2 sensor senses the concentration of oxygen in the exhaust gases and sends the signal to engine management system or ECU. Information from O2 sensor is coupled with information from other sensor of system is used to determine the air fuel ratio. So by using optimum air fuel ratio engine can burn fuel effectively and efficiently so emission is reduced.

Where is the O2 sensor in a Toyota Corolla?

The O2 sensor on a Toyota Corolla is located on the exhaust manifold. The O2 sensor properly reads the air fuel ratio to tell the engine how much fuel to use.
