There are so many varieties (species) of fish called 'aquarium sharks' that it is impossible to answer your question with any accuracy/authority. However I would advise you to feed 'Goldfish Food' to goldfish and look for some other tropical fish food for any other 'tropical fish'.
Yes; most fish flakes will do for any fish. In a pinch you can even feed Freshwater Fish flakes to Saltwater Fish (although not for a long time). Each different kind of flake is designed for specific needs, though, so the next time you buy flakes you should just get the ones designed for "tropical fish" in general. Goldfish will be fine with those and in the long run they are probably better for the sharks and other community fish.
Don't keep them together, though. Silver sharks and most other aquarium fish are tropical but goldfish need cold water.

Yes. The glitter can get into their gills and inhibit their breathing. If enough glitter gets in, the goldfish will eventually suffocate and die. The goldfish can also mistake the glitter for food. As it is not possible for goldfish to digest glitter, this too can cause the goldfish to die.
Yes, goldfish will enjoy snacking on the kinds of treats intended for saltwater fish because saltwater fish foods contain more nutrients. However it is still best to feed a goldfish a regular goldfish flake/pellet diet, therefore only occasionally treating it to saltwater fish food.
Any breed of Goldfish can eat it but onlygoldfish.A female goldfish can lay many thousands of eggs every springtime for up to and over 40 years or so. She can also grow to over 20 inches long in this time.
