Yes but I guess it depends on what is you consider bad gas? I may run rough for a while, which might set the check engine light off because of misfiring. I hope this helps
Bad spark plugs can indeed cause an engine to idle rough. If any of the spark plugs are misfiring or are not producing enough of a spark to ignite the fuel, then not only will the engine idle roughly, it will alwso waste gas. If may seem as though it is running fine when you are driving however, you still may be wasting gas and your pickup may not be as fast as it should.
Yes, it cause the engine to run rich.
When you are parked or in neutral while the car idles, your engine will shake. The vehicle will also get poor gas milage. Bad gas can also cause engine failure.
maybe you have some bad gas try a can of dry gas
probably broken motor mount, other possibilities include bad tire balance, or the engine misfiring due to bad tune-up
either you have bad piston rings or bad valve guides
that's not a question, but I'll take a stab anytime an engine misfires it's a problem with either the spark plug or electrical system, bad gas, or lack of compression in the piston chamber
The check engine light will blink when you're engine is misfiring. The smell from the cat is raw(unburned gas) hitting it....which can cause some pretty bad smells and also ruin your cat. Sounds like you need some plugs and wires.
The most common problems would be a weak or no spark OR old bad gas.
Yes, it may cause a miss that will trigger the check engine light.
Yes, It can cause the engine to mis-fire and it also can cause the fuel pump to over heat/fail.
