It's posible, but not hugely likely.
You possibly have warped brake rotors on the front. Or Bad Wheel Bearings.
How are your calipers an wheel bearings looking. i had a bad wheel bearing and actually blew and warped my rotor.
Driving with bad bearings is generally a bad idea. If the bearing seizes solid, (usually) the inner race will begin to spin on the axle, damaging the bearing seat.
No, bad front wheel bearings would not prevent a transmission from shifting. If your car has bad front wheel bearings you will notice wheel noise or wheel looseness.
check the wheel bearings if there good then the rotors may be warped or could be a bad tire.
Might have warped rotors does it pulse when u put the breaks on? other things could be bad wheel bearings or cv joints.
you hear a sound from the wheel
Bad bearings inside or loose castle nut.
No
worn or bad wheel bearings will make noise (grinding, humming, etc)
About $500 to replace. They keep your wheel on. If your wheel bearings break off your wheel falls off.
Does it turn freely with the caliper removed? if not, check the bearings or hub assembly. You only replaced one caliper? If one's bad, the other isn't far behind.
