No. unlike fleas bedbugs infest beds not people or animals. The bedbug detects the breath of any person near to it sleeping. The bedbug homes in on where the sleeping human's breath is coming from to find its food, which is human blood. After its meal the bedbug will usually set up its base in or near the bed and females lay eggs near to or in the bed so new bedbugs get born and so the bed becomes more and more infested. Bedbugs do not normally bite animals nor are they attracted to pets or to the bed of pets.

yes they do they only come because you didn't wash your cloth. They come and suck you pets fur.

I don't think that your pet is at any risk other than the bedbug will make them itchy as well but your pet is a easy way to get to you with out you even knowing it. Yes your pet is a free ride to a human meal.

If you do have them keep your pet clean as possible along with a good flea treatment will help and of course a bath doesn't hurt.

If you can part with your baby not being at your feet or your side and of course under the covers next to you then do so. If not then be careful, you can use a spray on a wash cloth to wipe them down with before bedtime, it will make your pet feel more at ease and make you feel happy knowing they are by your side.

Wishing you all a well nights rest

Anyone wishing to know more may email me at joyegarland@Yahoo.com for I have had personal hands on experience with these little bugs and I would be happy to help where I can..I learned having support on these issues is a good thing so you know you are not alone on the issue.

No, they are ectoparasites but do not live on their host, like mites. They only use the host when they are hungry and will leave after they have fed.

Yes, as they can live in your cats/dogs bedding as they do in your bedding but they don't chase after them!
