Can bettas live with barbs?
Most Barbs - no. Tiger Barbs, Green Tiger Barbs and Ruby Barbs - a DEFINATE no! they will nip it to pieces! Other Barbs I'm not so sure about - do some research, but most Barbs - no!

No it will not. However, if there are 3 or more tiger barbs, then they might get the courage to nip at its fins. And i Highly advise you not to keep tiger barbs with goldfish because tiger barbs live in warm water (about 70-85 degrees). and gold fish live in colder water. The tiger barb would ultimately die.

No fish I know of can live in Aquarium salt. All fish need water to live in. If you are asking if a tiger barb (Barbus tetrazona) can live if it was placed in a marine (salt water) situation, then the answer is "No. Not for more than the few minutes it would take for it to die.

Other barbs and fast swimming fish e.g. danios. I have them with rosy barbs, angelfish, gouramis, ropefish and plecos. However, if you try this be sure to keep a close eye on them. My angels actually boss them around so the barbs don't mess with them. But again its your risk, also make sure the angels and gouramis are almost adult size.

cause they like to live in groups , i have 10 of them i love when i see them moving at the bottom of the tanks in group
