The answer is yes. I'm certainly no lawyer, but I've done plenty of research on this topic myself.
Here is an article that was written in 2009. If you click the link in it for the PDF file, you will be able to see an actual list of all of the pardons Strickland granted from 2005-2007. There are several Domestic Violence convictions that were found to be "favorable" for a pardon.
Here you will find links for both an application for executive clemency and instructions for completing it. Only applications that are from the Ohio parole board are legitimate, so beware. There are also a lot of scams out there. Bear in mind there is no special team of lawyers that can help you exponge a domestic violence conviction, but there are a lot of con artists out there that would love to take your money.
