An intermittent crankshaft sensor will not let the engine fire the correct times. This can definitely cause a misfire for the engine.
If the camshaft sensor is not operating properly, then the engine could suffer lower mpg. The sensor is what causes the engine to fire at the proper times and this is critical for better economy.
Try having a look around the ECT( engine coolant temp sensor) fitting into the coolant passages around the side of the motor near the fire wall. They have a O-ring set underneath them , and are secured with a plastic C-clip. Look around with a flashlight and a mirror with the engine running. Good luck( Oh before you remove the sensor, turn off the engine, release the pressure in the coolant expantion tank prior to removing the sensor).
the crank position sensor can cause similar symptoms jeep is known for crank sensor problems
Yes, sometimes a faulty ignition switch can cause the engine to not fire. Also, a bad spark park can the engine to not fire.
yes if its faulty its like going into safe mode your engine will not fire drive safe
Either the coolant sensor has failed or there is a bad connector somewhere or the dashboard sensor circuit has failed.
there is a sensor in the bottom of the coolant bottle, change this and you should be o.k. tap the sensor with a screw driver it will go out uts just stuck
A bad TPS might cause the engine to not fire up during cranking. But not crank? Nope.
Check the camshaft sensor. If the sensor is bad or not getting power, then the engine will not fire and the injector will not get a signal.
The crank sensor is an important part of the engine wiring. Without it the engine does not know when to fire. There is no way to by pass it.
It could.It could.
