I personally am a child (13) who has diabetes. I find that having some excersise helps dramatically! Even if it is a little walk for about 10 minutes i find that it lowers it at least by 1 point e.g 8.0 down to 7.0. However, i think that if you do a fast speed walk it is better! but yes definitely excersise is AMAZING when it comes to diabetes!
oh, and also i hope that it is not different for adults... i don't think so but you can always try it out!
Hope it goes well!
:)
Exercise is very important in managing type 2 diabetes. Combining diet, exercise, and medicine (when prescribed) can help control your weight and blood sugar level.
Exercise helps control type 2 diabetes by:
It depends on the exercise, but generally the adrenaline from exercise causes a spike in sugar levels. This causes for a 'false high' after exercise, which can last for some hours. It is not until after this peak that the sugar level will drop. If your sugar levels are high it is not a good idea to do exercise to try lower it. This is just from personal experience though and exercise can affect other diabetics differently. But in short initially no, eventually yes.
Diabetics often suffer from foot problems, which can limit the types of exercise they can do such as running. Doctors recommend that people suffering from diabetics do alternative exercises such as swimming and moderate weight lifting which do not involve contact between the feet and another surface.
Exercise helps your diabetes very much. It can help with your weight, which is important for people with diabetes. It also helps with your blood sugars, which are also important!

Yes, it has been shown that exercise can help reverse diabetes. This happens because it decreases the fat tissue to cause an insulin imbalance in the body. Diet will also help in the reversal of diabetes. http://www.cnn.com/2011/HEALTH/01/28/reverse.diabetes/index.html
There is currently no cure for diabetes but scientists at a Toronto medical center claim that have proof of what is triggering diabetes. The scientists believe that the nerve system triggers diabetes. But doctors says that you can managed diabetes by exercising and eating a balanced diet.
A good diet and daily exercise can help reverse diabetes by allowing your blood sugar to stay at a more even rate through the day. When you eat a lot of carbohydrates, it turns to starches and sugars. This will spike your blood sugar and insulin will be needed to regulate it. Lower the intake of carbs and you lower the need for insulin.
There are a few ways a person can reverse the process of diabetes. You can eat healthy and you can exercise. If you get to your diabetes before it gets too severe you can reverse the effect it is having on your body.
To decrease your chances of developing diabetes you should have a low sugar diet. Eat healthy and well balanced meals. Also, make sure to exercise regularly.
