Yes they do. I went & looked in my tank the other day and saw my snail on the gravel then i went back 20 minutes later and my snails shell was on its back with the shell empty. I then looked in the tank again 5 minutes later and one of my comet goldfish was vomiting up my snail :(

∙ 14y agoYes if you smash the shells first. Do not add any more of these than the fish will eat up almost instantly. Beware. If they are left uneaten they will rot/putrefy and poison the water and kill the fish.

∙ 12y agoI doubt so. Water snails can live with goldfish, but since garden snails cannot live in water, the two will probably not work out together. I actually take care of them both right now, in separate containers.
