If it has been fitted correctly then there should be no problem.
For a permanant cure the head gasket must be changed the head will possibly require skimming as well to ensure flatness Dependant what engine is fitted head gasket replacement times are qouted as between 6.1 & 9.0 hours best wishes
Couple of hours, tops.
It takes around a couple of hours to drive from Edmonton to Camrose.
Couple of hours, max.
I am new to this but I am hoping I can fix this myself. I was hoping it was the primary gasket. I replaced it and it didn't help. the drip forms on the lowest point under the primary when it has been parked for a few hours. thanks for any suggestions.
As soon as the mechanic that did the job closes the hood.
To do it yourself, a couple dollars. The gasket is cheap. To have someone do it for you, they'll charge several hours and the cost will depend on their hourly rate.
Well i just replaced a head gasket on an old d4 today and it took about 4 hours if that helps depends on how much your mechanic charges an hour...
You should expect to pay between 50 and 80 dollars for the gasket and between 4 and 6 hours for the labor at your shops labor rate.
151 miles. Couple of hours to do the drive.
7 hours including a couple of 20min rest breaks
If you know what your doing a couple hours (head will need skimming) if not take it to a garage
