It is very unhealthy to maintain a 400 cal a day diet your organs will start shutting down
You will lose weight and you will be hungry
20 cal/day isn't a diet, it's starvation. It's not healthy, it's not sustainable, it's outright dangerous. On top of that it's also quite pointless. On a crash diet like that you're almost guaranteed to put any weight you possibly lost right back on the moment you start eating again.
it depends big time if you excersize alot like 20 min of running then dont go under 1400 cal if you dont excersize that much like 20min of pilates then dont go under 1200cal if you arent a big fan for excersizing and dont at all then have a daily diet of 1000 cal DO NOT GO UNDER IF YOU GO UNDER YOUR BODY WILL GO INTO STARVATION MODE AND SAVE FAT CELLS YOU COULD ACTUALLY GAIN WEIGHT when you have your weight where you want it eat 1500 cals a day and excersize a little
500 cal is a ridiculous diet, it's not sustainable and not healthy. If you only want to lose one pound you might as well go sit in a sauna for an hour or so and you'll lose that weight until you reach for a bottle of water again.
The best diet plans are those that guide you to a balanced, healthy diet with a calorie intake of about 1200 cal/day for women or 1500 calories a day for men. Sites like Weight Watchers, CalorieKing.com, and others provide guidelines and support.
not safely... be careful you can through out the balance of the blood electrolytes. hope it helps.. the best way to loose weight is simple. good diet, good exercise. depending on your age, keep it to about 1500-2000 cal. a day. duboff
Each pound is 2000 cal so for every 2000 calories you cut from (a none weight gaining diet-weight maintaining diet)per 3 to 4 weeks you will loose weight.
Diet modification can be good for slow weight loss, or even fast loss if you go from a very poor diet to a very good one. Exercise is also necessary for health.
60 cal is about 1/20 of a healthy but strict diet. It's not really doable in a sensible way. Crash diets like that rarely work. You can lose a few pounds fast, but you'll put them right back on within days of starting eating again.
Eating less than 1000 cal/day can and most likely will cause weight gain.
A diet of that calorie content would definitely allow for weight loss, but only if exercise was also included. A "cheat" food or meal once or twice a week is not a bad thing. A little extra food every now and again is not a problem, as long as most of the time there is a healthy diet with plenty fo exercise.
