Take it to the dealership.
how do you disable the service ride control warning indicator light for 2003 escalade
this means you have a failure, a shock or the ride control computer has gone bad
To reset service ride control light on yukon detail one must use their manual to determine which button or switch is used to reset the control light properly.
why does my service control light come on
Check to be sure the "dome light over ride" switch is not turned on.
The procedure will vary from year to year to bypass the service ride control, but the basics are the same. Put the unit into program mode (look in your owners manual.) Set the default to 0. With the default of 0 the light should stay off.
Had the same problem on my 2002 ext. eventually had to have the rear shocks and air ride compressor replace. Had the dealer do it for 3300.00
There would be no point in the car maker fitting an immobilizer that could be easily over-ridden.
Ok. Sounds like somebody took their cousin to the prom. If you don't mind taking advice from a chick, my service light came on when one of my high beams went out. It made my running lights flash. If that happens, check your high beams. It will more than likely go off when you replace the one that's out. If its the check engine light, just head to auto zone or somebody that does a free diagnostic before you drop a ton of cash at the dealer when its just a loose gas cap or something simple.Answerbefore most people ask a stupid question here, they look in the owner's manual first^ before someone posts an answer which is no help to anyone they should change their tampon first...I have spoken with a few cavalier owners and they told me that the service light with the wrench is a secondary light relating to engine sensors headlights and taillights. if you see the engine light (major Malfunction) its a good idea to pull over and find a ride before you do serious damage to the engine.as a matter of fact I did look in the owners manual...all it stated was to take it to a dealer for service. I thought perhaps someone with some experience and/or intelligence could elaborate on the possibilities of the service required.
because the brakes and the engine are separate systems that don't over ride each other
