Does Suboxone lessen the effect of alprazolam?
No. They bind to different receptor sites. Suboxone is in the opiate class of medications. Alprazolam is in the benzodiazepine class of medications. That being said, it is generally not indicated to be on alprazolam (due to its addictive properties) while being treated with Suboxone.
Would Dilaudid help you with norco withdrawal?
It keeps you from going through withdrawal, yes, but depending on what u r used to taking makes the difference. Example: 2mg dilaudid is like taking 2 perc 10's. dilaudid is stroger there is no acetametaphan it is a form of morphine. Hydromorphone is the generic name. I am prescribed 4mgs dilaudid also lasts a lot longer for pain and withdrrawal. con for me is that it makes me feel too "high"

Cant get my Dilaudid filled what can i get?
My doctor got me started on this horrible ride with Dilaudid about 3 yrs ago and I was taking 4mgs every 4 hrs for breakout pain in my back and neck. It has turned me into a very nasty and mean person. He doesn't want to fill it and no one else will either! I am forced to get off on my own, omg... its painful and hard but you can do it. I am gradually cutting them down with a pill cutter. I wait as long as I can before I take one. I just got on Lexapro, and half of a 1mg xanax in the am and the other half about 4 pm. It is easing the horrible side effects! Tell your doctor you do NOT want the suboxone as you will have to go through a horrible withdrawals with that as well. I am doing this very slowly due to my heart and my age. It makes me sick that they say trust me as your doctor and most never know what this pill will do to you in the long run! I have been weaning for 3 weeks now. I thought I had a ton of health issues wrong with me, and it was the Dilaudid the whole time! I am going to win this battle period! My thoughts and prayers are out to you all that are trying to get off any of these addictive drugs! Don't give in or up on yourself!
How many blue Xanax does it take to get high?
People say they get high with xanax, but I don't find that to be the case. I was prescribed for it following a tragic incident in which I lost loved ones and was on it for two months. It didn't work. Try coffee instead. Better yet, don't take any drugs that aren't prescribed for you and then not until you have researched them thoroughly. It is called, "Halcyon". Xanax does not get you high, at all. It puts you to sleep.

Is it safe to mix Klonopin with Valium?
Same family of medicine, both Benzodiazepines. Only issue would be knowing the potency or what mg of each medicine it would equal. Example: To you, would 2mgs of Klonopin and 2mgs of Valium equal 4mgs of Klonopin/Valium? Is that to much? It's better to use lower doses of one medicine when not properly knowing how your body reacts.
Can you feel high using heroin while on 4 mgs of Suboxone?
If you do not take Suboxone regularly (if you just took 4 mgs one time), then you may be able to feel the effects of the heroin, to a limited extent. But you probably will not be able to get a full-blown heroin high for at least 36 hours.Additional info, my friend has injected both and knows how to "balance the life of the H and subs, but he just told me today that even on 4mgs of suboxone (shot up of course) still completely blocked hi Heroine high..... I haven't tried it b/c I always let someone else try some dumb stuff first so I know at least kinda what to expect. I guess It would work (H) but you would need about 2-4 times as much as your normal dose to get high on opiates b/c bupe binds so tightly and only ALOT would be able to kick out the suboxone but then you're running the risk of overdose. I would wait at least 24-37 hours before I use H next cuz you will not get the full rush or even the full high. ^^^answer is pretty much 100% correct above, just thought I'd elaborate on some extra personal experiences to this same question. (and after buprenorphine dosing you would need to IV a concentrated opiate that is really strong like H, or OC, to be able to fill the receptors in your brain- oh and keep in mind that subutex/suboxone jacks up your opiate tolerance up to high as hell making you need 2/4 times your old dose habit now.....messed up ain't it? lol....it sucks all around. best is to quit both, wait till your in w/d or pretty sick from w/d then use your opiate of choice and the yea your dope should work just fine. some times it takes up to a week to get most of suboxone out if you take it everyday, but if you took it just once, and it was a low dose you'd be ready to use full agonists (H,OC,dope, etc.) in as little as 36-72hours.....k, look basically wait till you're dope sick and then use your opiate either Heroine or Suboxone. if you take sub too soon you'll force yourself into w/d, but if you're already on subs then you'll waste your money on H, or OC. simple? right? need more info? just go to the Suboxone website and it will explain the different reactions that can occur when you use opiates.
Will methadone help with suboxone withdrawals?
Yes. Suboxone is for the treatment of mild to moderate opiate addiction, like Vicodin addictions. Suboxone is itself an opiate; it replaces the other opiate, but it doesn't get you high, so you can quit getting high without the painful physical withdrawal. It also has an ingredient called naloxone in it. Naloxone is a partial opiate antagonist, meaning that it blocks the opiate receptors in your brain, so you cannot get high on opiates while you are taking the Suboxone. In order to begin treatment with Suboxone, you must wait at least 18 to 24 hours since your last dose of Vicodin. It is absolutely essential that you be in full-blown, severe withdrawal from the Vicodin, before you start taking the Suboxone. If you take the Suboxone before you are in full withdrawal from the Vicodin, it will produce the worst, most horrible withdrawal symptoms you can imagine. You will get really, really sick. Once you are in severe withdrawal, you can begin taking the Suboxone. Start with a small dose (say, half a pill, 4mgs), and wait 30 to 45 minutes to see how you feel. If you still feel sick, try taking another half a pill, and wait another 30 to 45 minutes. Continue taking small doses, every 30 to 45 minutes, until you feel well again. Remember that Suboxone must be dissolved under the tongue; it won't dissolve in your stomach, so do not swallow it. You will have to continue taking the same dose of Suboxone every day, or else you will start having withdrawal symptoms. Once you feel you are ready to stop taking the Suboxone, you can start decreasing your dosage little by little, over a period of several months, until you are able to stop taking it completely. The slower you decrease your dosage, the less painful getting off of it will be. You would be much better off having a doctor supervising your Suboxone treatment. I have included a link to one treatment program, The Columbia University Buprenorphine Program in Manhattan (buprenorphine is the main ingredient in Suboxone, besides naloxone). Can you use Clonidine for opiate withdrawal?
Most definitely! I'm currently am being weaned down from methadone. I was at 128mgs and I'm not on 92mgs. Still have a long way to go! I wanted to do it "slowly" for about a year. My psychiatrist is giving me only 6months to come off. I would much rather be on my psych meds than the methaone! My PCP started me on Clonidine a few months ago. First I was taking .1mg twice a day then on top of the two he prescrbed my .2mgs a night. If you were ever in rehab the nurses usually give you a a Clonidine Patch(Catapress). When you are withdrawaling from a certain drug like Methadone or even a Benzo. The Clonodine does seem to help your blood pressure, severe anxiety, relaxation and sleep. The FDA approved therapeutic effect taking Clonidine is for blood pressure. (Clonidine is used "off label" for MANY other things like restless leg syndrome, severe cancer pain from radiation, and even ADHD or ADD) Now depending on where you are detoxing from, will definitely make a difference in the severity and lenght of your detox. If you are at home, you have the opportunity to get other medications like Ativan.(Ativan seems to be the one the medical field uses the most.) Thankfully, I was prescribed a lot of medications throughout this hell! Klonopin 1mg 4 times a day for anxiety. Promethazine or Phenergan that really helps with some of my nausea 25mgs every 2-6hrs. Zanaflex 4mgs one every 4hrs to relax my tense muscles and headaches, Seroquel which I was prescribed for a mood disorder is used off label for anxiety and insomnia. I take Remeron for sleep/depression and Celexa for a particular phobia. I take Imitrex 100mgs as directed for migraine. I take a med with three ingredients for migraine/tension headaches. I was on Midrin for my headaches up until, apparently, they didn't have all of the ingredients/raw materials to make Midrin. Now they put me on a drug called "Prodrin." Prodrin is also made up of 3 ingredients, but instead of the sedative combo(Chloral Hydrate and something else) I get caffeine instead! Hell, caffeine causes a lot of my headaches. It's not from withdrawing from it, because I rarely consume it. Finally,eat healthy foods in moderation. Drink LOTS of fluids preferably without caffeine or alcohol(natural Laxis) acting like I've already come off methadone because of all of the advice I've made. Toxins from years of drug use like to retire in your fat tissue. Methadone is especially prone to do that. For an example, you consumed a methadone dose of 60mgs. When you come up the next day, you dose again at 60mgs. Now, from a legitimate source with a doctorites degree and specializes in drugs and the body, there is robably 10mgs from yesterday. I'm probably not saying it right. Anyway, take care to all and beat this demon for good!!
How long will 6mg of suboxone block opiates?
Prob about 24 hour's because it only has 2mg of the blocker 8mg suboxone has 4mg of blocker so 8mg about 36 hours
