I was wondering the same thing... mine started 11 days befor my period and has lasted 7 days, it just stopped and my period will start in 3 days. So far I have tested negative for pregnancy as of yesterday. I will be checking again in a few days. Also I am on BC and getting accupuncture. My accupuncturist said some women bleed right through pregnancy, and accupuncure increased blood flow. I have also had quite a bit of cramping in day 2 and 3 of implant bleeding - if that is what it is...

I am so confused right now. Cant wait till Sunday to find out for sure

Can implantation bleeding occur 5 weeks after the 1st day of your period?

It is doubtful that the bleeding you had was implantation bleeding since most women ovulate 12-17 days after the first day of your last menses, and implantation is 5-7 days after ovulation. However almost anything is possible.

Light bleeding in the first few weeks of pregnancy is also called implantation bleeding. It can last anywhere from 1 to 7 days. It will be extremely light if it is indeed implantation bleeding. Women can experience very light "periods" during the first 6 months of pregnancy.

Why are you bleeding 7 days before your normal menstrual cycle?

It could be implantation bleeding if you have been sexually active recently during your fertile period. This can happen 6 to 12 days after conception.

Implantation bleeding remains for how many days. I normally bleed 3-4 days and what is its color?

You can have implantation bleeding from 3-7 days. Its usually lighter than your period and pink or brown in color. But, keep in mind every woman is different. So women actually confuse implanation bleeding with their period. I've heard of some women have actually had heavy bleeding and they thought it was their period, but i actually was implantation bleeding. I've also had this same experience with 1 of my pregnancies. Good luck:)

Implantation would occur 7 days after conception and since conception takes about 4-5 days you would start implantation bleeding 12-13 days after sex?

I am no expert, but from all that I have read over the past week on this very subject, I believe that it is actually 7 to 12 days after the actual fertilization of the egg (intercourse) that the egg starts implanting and you may or may not have bleeding, or spotting.

Can implantation bleeding last a week long?

That is definitely not implantation bleeding but could be a miscarriage or something else. If this is not normal for you, then you should see a doctor.
