That's possible. It depends what lubricant you are using where. If i assume you're tlaking about sexual lubricants, most specifically designed lubes will be safe to use and are unlikely to cause a rash. But if you're getting a rash from using one, stop using it immediately.
You then have two options. You could try an alternative lube, or you could speak to your doctor/medical practitioner about it. There's no harm or embarassment about this, it's perfectly natural.
One thing i would always do (in case you're not) is to use brand-name lubes that are simple and easy to start with. you can always progress to other things when you know what works and what doesn't for you, everybody is different.
