Yes. If you take to much of the medication, it can eat your organs like acid. The same can be said for morphine, norco, oxycotton. If taken according to directions, it will not harm the vital organs. If taken for an extended period of time, they all have the possibility of causing serious damage, including, but not limited to, rapid deterioration of the liver, kidney's, stomach, pancrius, and intestines. It is important that you talk to your doctor before taking any narcotics.

Do pain killers have any side effects?

Air and water and everything else have side effects.... but I would not advise not breathing or drinking. Tylenol (acetaminophen or paracetamol) can raise liver enzymes of taken in large doses (over 3000mg per day). NSAIDs (aspirin, Motrin, Advil, Aleve, ibuprofen - many prescriptions) can cause stomach upset, ulcers, kidney problems, fluid retention and easy bruising and bleeding. Narcotics (Morphine, Percocet, Vicodin others) can cause sedation, constipation, confusion and be habit forming in susceptible people.

What does low sgot level in blood mean?

Transaminases (SGTP) & (SGOT): These are enzymes that are primarily found in the liver. Drinking too much alcohol, certain drugs, liver disease and bile duct disease can cause high levels in the blood. Hepatitis is another problem that can raise these levels. Low levels of GGTP may indicate a magnesium deficiency. Low levels of SGPT and SGOT may indicate deficiency of vitamin B6.

How many acetaphetamines does it take before it shuts down your liver?

12 12? What kind of answer is that? What is the dosage? of the tablet/cap? How o;d is the person taking it? 12 is the maximum recommended dosage within a 24 hour period as shown on warning labels, for an adult. This does not mean your liver will shut down, although it will be strained. 12 at one time will probably not shut a healthy adult liver down. But, it will raise protein levels in your blood, a marker for liver function, and give you one hell of an upset stomach.
