No If the babies Father is blood type A then the baby will be Blood type A if the father is Blood type O then the baby will be blood type O If the father does not know what blood type he is and you are blood type O then the nurse, midwife and doctor will treat you with Anti-D which helps prevent future babies being affected by your blood
MY VIEW
It IS possible that a father of blood type AO and the mother of blood type of O or BO can give rise to the child of blood type O.
Yes( Very, very rare.) and no( Highly likely.). It really all depends on the kid. If the mother is a O blood type and then they have a child with blood type A, then the mothers immune and blood system will attack the baby, resulting in loss of baby(miscarrage) and it could be possible for the mother to die. Other than that, it is not likely for that to happen. :D
I posted the question and I am trying to prove to a friend it is impossible can any one prove me wrong ? Yes,You are wrong and Yes it is possible. The child can have another blood type other than the mothers. If It a question of paternity(ie:who's the father) the child & the father will need a DNA test not a blood test. I posted the question man u got way off topic The Father Is "O" The Mother Is "AB-" And My Friend Says He Is Type "O-" Is This Freaking Possible?
Yes, it's possible.
Yes the child can can be A, B, or O in this scenario.
No, since both parents have the genotype OO, they can only pass O on to the child
The father would have to be A.
no because in peanut buttar
Yes!
I was told that a mother that is a+ and child is 0+ that it OK for the father to be 0-
The child's blood type is probably B.
The fathers blood type has to be taken into consideration aswell, if he is tpe o the the baby will be o, but if he is ao or bo then the child could be ao or bo or oo, if he is ab the the child will be ao or bo, if he is AA the child will be ao, if he is bb the child will be bo. Not sure about the negative tho.
No. The child will be type B or O, it cannot be type A.
AB
Yes!
I was told that a mother that is a+ and child is 0+ that it OK for the father to be 0-
You can limit what possible blood types the father has if you know the mother's and the child's. For example, if the child is type O, the father cannot be type AB, and if the child is type AB, the father cannot be type O.
what blood type moms or dads
If the mother is A type blood and the father is O type blood, there are two options that can arise. Either the mother's A-type goes through and the child's also an A-type, or the mother's A-type doesn't go through an the child's an O-type. Because neither parent sport a B-type in their blood, the child cannot possibly have this blood type.
The child's blood type is probably B.
He mother and father have nothing to do with the child's blood type
The child can have either A-type blood or O-type blood.
No. The child will have either type A or type B blood.
Yes, the child's blood type can be B if the father has o.
No they cannot. They can only have a child with type A or type O blood.
