No If the babies Father is blood type A then the baby will be Blood type A if the father is Blood type O then the baby will be blood type O If the father does not know what blood type he is and you are blood type O then the nurse,midwife and doctor will treat you with Anti-D which helps prevent future babies being affected by your blood

It IS possible that a father of blood type AO and the mother of blood type of O or BO can give rise to the child of blood type O.

∙ 15y agoYes( Very, very rare.) and no( Highly likely.). It really all depends on the kid. If the mother is a O blood type and then they have a child with blood type A, then the mothers immune and blood system will attack the baby, resulting in loss of baby(miscarrage) and it could be possible for the mother to die. Other than that, it is not likely for that to happen. :D

∙ 14y agoI posted the question and I am trying to prove to a friend it is impossible can any one prove me wrong ? Yes,You are wrong and Yes it is possible. The child can have another blood type other than the mothers. If It a question of paternity(ie:who's the father) the child & the father will need a DNA test not a blood test. I posted the question man u got way off topic The Father Is "O" The Mother Is "AB-" And My Friend Says He Is Type "O-" Is This Freaking Possible?
