Yes, you will need to modify the ECU though. Normally it has to be done by a shop, unless you already own a programming tool. Take it to your nearest Dodge dealer and ask them if they can perform the service, or recommend a shop. It shouldn't cost much, its a very simple change.
There is no idle sensor. Idle speed is computer controlled and is not adjustable.
If it is and automatic transmission the idle will be at about 900 RPM and is not recommended to be adjusted but can be adjusted at the trottle position sensor (TPS) located just abouve the air heater intake on the driver side. If the truck is a manual transmission the idle should be in between 700 and 850 RPM and is not recommended to be adjusted but again can be at the TPS.
Your truck may have the idle to low or the compressor might have some problems
its set by the ecm but sometimes the throttle plate has carbon built up and lowers the idle just have your mechanic clean it
AC idle compensator. Many vehicles have a sensor that increases idle speed when you turn on & add more load. Sounds like your idle not being adjusted. Have your mech check it.
Idle is computer controlled and is not adjustable.
No it can't be adjusted it is computer controlled
Idle is computer controlled and can NOT be adjusted.
How do yu adjust idle in a nissan sentra
need to have your idle checked, mine did the same thing, and adjusted the idle up and it stopped the problem, the only thing is you need a tack meter don't use the dash gauge, it may not be true
There should be a fuel shutoff that needs to be adjusted, but let the car idle a couple of minutes before shutting it off and the valves should cool off enough to not diesel.
If it has EFI (Electronic Fuel Injection) there is no idle speed adjustment. The idle speed is adjusted electronically.
