yes...they just can't break into a gated driveway or garage...and if they come -JUMP IN YOUR CAR!!!!!!!!!! they are legally not allowed to touch you. If they do you can sue!!!! its called breach of peace...they cannot take your car violently...hope this helps...just pay your bill..i just got repo'd and it sucks BAD.... :( i just wish i knew about the breach of peach law before!!! i would have been hanging on to my car for dear life!!!!!
Yes they can, I have seen repossessions happen in your driveway as well. The only problem that would occur is if they broke into your garage to reclaim the vehicle.
it really depends on why he,s owing he car is there a lien holder if there is a lien hold he don't need anyhing if you are the only person on the title he needs a signed contract that states if you fail th pay he not he can reposes it if he has no contract or lien is your property if the car gets towed is theft
Be careful. If your vechicle has been sitting on someone's private property for very long, the property owner may be able to legally charge you a storage fee. Even if you "Steal" your own car back, they may have posted a claim against the vehicle's VIN number, rendering the car unregisterable. These fees can quickly add up to be more than the value of the vehicle, in which case you'd want to give up on that vehicle. On the up side, most property owners would be happy to have you get your chunk of crap dead car off of their property.
Yes, private property does not obsolve you of your responsiblity.
YES.
It should, there is virtually no difference between private property and public property when it comes to accidents.
Car repo is covered by its own law. So No
Whoever the car belongs to.
If the car is located on private property, it does not have to be insured.
Yes In most places hiding the car from the repo man is illegal. If he is sure the car is in there he can enter a storage place and reposes the car. But he is not allowed to intimidate or do violence to the person or property damage to make the repossession.
In any jurisdiction one day late and they can reposes your car.
You do.
yes
