Is it prejudice or ignorance that only the Europeanized version of Christianity which was stolen from the Coptic Religion in 325A.D. be justified as a Religion? I have lived in Africa(Kenya and South Africa)since 1951. The answer is both. it is natural because every one has been given the conscousness of a God. Now whether it is the true God I will not debate that now. So everyone in the world has this inner knowledge of God. you might call this "natural". A person can deny it or suppress this truth but a person has the ability to do this. African Traditional Religions (ATR) are a real religion. It gets very complicated. They have a definite concept of God. This affects their relationships to other people and how they view themselves and the world around them. There needs to be an explanation about the meaning of "theology" Theology is a word that is divided up into two parts "theo" and "ology" ology is the standard form for the meaning of "the study of" Thus biology the study (corrected) organisms, zoology the study of animals. When we come to "theology" the first part "theo" comes from the Greek word "theos" which means God. So rightly understood theology is the study of God.
All religions on this planet are ideological, theology is the study of religions._ which God/Allah/Tao/Buddah incoherently is referenced to the meaning of religion. the word god is a sub category of religion.
ology is the "study of" as correctly stated, which refers to analytic information, Gods in general are spiritual, and cannot be studied since therefore have no physical form. hence why theology is the study of religions.
