If you were over paid by unemployment can that affect your social security benefits at all
Social Security Disability is, of course, a payment from a federal agency. While there is no rule specifically on Social Security Disability, the general rule is that any funds received from a federal agency by fraud (in a petition filed on or after October 17, 2005) cannot be discharged. If the overpayment did not occur because of fraud, it will be discharged. In order to prove fraud, the SSA must show, in the bankruptcy court, that the overpayments were due to fraud. Social Security Disability cannot be garnished.
If payments from Social Security have been more than designated, it should be reported. Eventually, the Agency will catch up and get the money back.

Social Security Income is a federally administered program for individuals with limited income and resources, often due to disability or retirement. Receiving Social Security Income does not automatically disqualify you from receiving unemployment insurance, but it may affect the amount or duration of benefits you are eligible for. It is best to consult with your state's unemployment agency for specific information regarding your situation.

No. All SS benefits are exempt from judgment creditors.
I used to work for a collection agency, and as far as I remember, no you can't. That would be like trying to garnish a social security check. I don't think they can do that.
Easy answer. Illegal aliens cannot receive Social Security. Social Security Disability, SSI, Food stamps, unemployment or any other federal/state benefit. In fact if the become known to any government agency, they are expected to report the information to Immigrations. I suppose some people might get benefits with fake ID, but that would not be easy.
In that situation, technically you'd get disability rather than unemployment. The two are often handled through the same agency, though.
The Social Security Administration was established to provide unemployment insurance and pensions for retired workers under the New Deal. Its goal was to financially support individuals who were no longer able to work or were experiencing economic hardship.
