Not unless the bully was the landlord.

Not very likely.. (Unless of course the landlord as agreed in the written lease that he will provide some type of security to monitor the property and keep tenants safe from criminal activity) otherwise it is your responsibility as the tenant to deal with bully's actions that take place on your rented property.

No matter what age the offending bully is there are laws in place to protect people from such actions..

An example would be : A 11 year old boy at his own home gets beat up by an 12 year old bully, the 11 year old suffers a black eye, a few bruises, a few scrapes and has $3.00 taken from him by the 12 year old Bully, The parents of the 11 year old then call the police, make a report and request that charges be filled against the 12 year old bully...

The 12 year old is then arrested and charged by police and depending on the laws that vary from state to state the 12 year old could face several different charges even as a juvenile, such as assault/battery, strong arm robbery, criminal trespassing, theft ect.

The parents of the 12 year old could then be financially responsible for the 11 year olds medical bills, pain suffering, the parents lost time from work, mental anguish, emotional distress ect.

There would be far less bullying going on if every parent of a child that was/is being bullied would handle everything through the police, the juvenile justice system and sue the bully's parents in court for all expenses incured...

How do you stop a bully boss?

There are several factors that have to be considered when dealing with a bully when the boss has already been informed. Ignoring the bully can work, if not, removing oneself from the situation all together will eliminate the problem. Reasoning and speaking to the bully with logic may also work.

Can a landlord continue to collect rent if title to the property has been transferred to a trustee?

I wouldn't think so, since the landlord transferred the land to a trustee the "landlord" couldn't have that title anymore, the trustee would so the trustee would collect the rent instead of the "old" landlord On the other hand you should ask if the "landlord" has been appointed the agent and property manager for the property owner. That appointment must be in writing and recorded in the land records. In that case they certainly may collect the rent.

Can my landlord put my things out if I left for two weeks?

Most states have a law within their landlord and tenant acts that states that the landlord may retake possession of his property without eviction proceedings if there is evidence to show that the property has been abandoned. Generally it has to be at least 15 days after the rent is due, and there must be evidence that the property was abandoned, such as electricity having been turned off. Just the fact that the tenant was absent for two weeks is not enough for the landlord to retake possession.

Can my landlord tell me my family can't be on the property?

Yes. Can a landlord collect rent on bankrupt home when he has not been making payments to bank?

That would be a matter that's between the landlord and the lender or bankruptcy trustee, not the tenant. As long as the landlord has control of the property he still has the right to collect rent and evict you if the rent isn't paid. If the property is taken over by a new entity, that entity becomes your landlord and they will give you further instructions.

How long does a tenant have to remove property after breaking lease in NJ?

In most states, when a tenant has been lawfully evicted, the landlord has the right to remove the personal belongings of the former tenant from the rental property. Each state, however, has laws regarding what the landlord must do with that property after removing it. Some states require the landlord to keep belongings in storage for 30 days prior to disposing it - in this case the landlord has the right to collect the storage fees from the tenant before releasing the belongings - while other states, such as Florida, permit the landlord to dispose of the belongings as the landlord sees fit. In South Carolina, the landlord has to remove all property and place it on the curbside, where the tenant has 48 hours to retrieve them or they will be disposed of.

What can a landlord do if tenant vacates property without notice?

Most states have a rule, under their landlord and tenant act, that if the rent is due, and a specific time has passed - in most states it's 15 days - and there is evidence that the property has been abandoned, such as the electricity being turned off, then the landlord may take possession of the property without going to court.

Is a tenant liable for property damage if the landlord left an item in this case a bed frame on the property which the tenant started to use without permission and then broke?

Any item that was present at the time of rental or lease signing, if damaged, is to be repaired to the best ability of the tenant, or if repair is not possible, then the landlord is entitled to collect damages. Before the lease was signed, there should have been a "walk through" with the landlord or their appointed agent, and this item should have been removed from the property before the tenant took possession.

When does someone entering another persons property become a trespasser?

I depends on your local and state laws and statutes. From my experience, a person is not trespassing until they have been informed by signage or in person they are not allowed to be in the property or area. If the person refuses to leave or returns after they have been informed they are trespassing.Added: Also, if they enter upon the property with the INTENT to commit a criminal act, they become a 'trespasser' the moment they set foot on the property.
