The best type of yoghurt to use is plain yoghurt with no additives. It is very easy and inexpensive to make at home by simply mixing good plain yoghurt with milk and storing it in a temperature-controlled container until it sets. For containers, which aren't expensive, check with your local kitchenware store, or internet food preparation suppliers.
